Athena’s Promise Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting Athena’s Promise and our mission to help animals in need. We want you to love your jewelry, and we do our best to offer a fair and simple return experience.

Order Cancellation

Please be aware that once an order is placed, we cannot cancel it, as it begins processing immediately.

However, once your order arrives, you may reach out to our support team to start the return process. Once we receive and approve your return, we can process a refund in accordance with the policy below.


Returns

We have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Please note: this is a request, and we reserve the right to reject returns on sale items for hygiene reasons.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Your item must be in the same condition that you received it

  • Unworn and unused

  • With tags attached

  • In its original packaging

  • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase

  • The item must not be a sale item – only full-price items are eligible

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you:

  • A return shipping label

  • Instructions on how and where to send your package

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please note: if your country of residence is not the United States, shipping your goods back to us may take longer than expected.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if:

  • The item is defective

  • The item is damaged

  • You receive the wrong item

This allows us to evaluate the issue and make it right as quickly as possible.

Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, plants)

  • Custom products (e.g., special orders or personalized items)

  • Personal care goods (e.g., beauty products)

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

Please contact us if you have questions or concerns about a specific item before purchasing.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to:

  1. Return the item you have, and

  2. Once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item you’d like.


European Union Customers (EU Right of Withdrawal)

Notwithstanding the above, if merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 1 day for any reason and without justification.

As above, your item must be:

  • In the same condition that you received it

  • Unworn or unused

  • With tags

  • In its original packaging

  • Accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase

We offer a 15-day refund policy for damaged or defective products. Please review the terms below:

1. Eligibility

  • This refund policy applies only to products that are damaged or defective upon arrival or during normal use within 15 days of the original purchase date.

  • Products must have been purchased directly from Athena’s Promise or an authorized retailer.

  • Proof of purchase (order number or other documentation) may be required.

2. Notification

  • Customers must notify Athena’s Promise of any damaged or defective products within 7 days of receipt of the item.

  • Notification should be sent via email to shopathenaspromise@gmail.com.

3. Return Process

  • Some items may not require a physical return, such as clearly defective or broken items.

  • Upon notification, our customer support team will provide instructions on how to proceed and, if needed, how to return the damaged or defective product.

  • Products must be returned in their original packaging, along with all accessories and documentation included with the product.

  • Customers are generally responsible for shipping costs associated with returning the product, unless otherwise specified by Athena’s Promise.

4. Inspection

  • Once the returned product is received, our team will inspect it to verify the damage or defect.

  • If the damage or defect is confirmed, we will issue a refund to the original form of payment within 7–10 business days.

5. Replacement Option

  • In some cases, customers may have the option to receive a replacement product instead of a refund.

  • This option will be offered at the discretion of Athena’s Promise.

6. Exclusions

This refund policy does not cover:

  • Damage or defects resulting from misuse, improper handling, or normal wear and tear

  • Products that have been altered or modified in any way

  • Products that were bought on sale – all sale items are not eligible for a full refund

7. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about the nature of the damage or defect.

  • Customers must follow the return instructions provided by Athena’s Promise to ensure timely processing of refunds or replacements.

8. Customer Satisfaction

Athena’s Promise values customer satisfaction and strives to resolve any issues promptly and fairly.
